SPAN 180 - Elementary Spanish - 5 units

No prior knowledge of Spanish is assumed. Begins to develop language competencies such as listening, speaking, reading & writing. The ultimate goal to achieve oral proficiency to enable students to communicate on a basic level. This course is equivalent to two years of high school Spanish. Optional credit/no credit or grade. Transferable to CSU; UC. (CAN SPAN 2) ( SPAN 180 + 185 = CAN SPAN SEQ A)
