Appendix A - Net Etiquette

1. Never write in all caps for e-mail or to post in the discussion area. All caps are harder to read and are used to symbolize that you are yelling at the person.

2. Place all communication in the appropriate place:

  • e-mail goes to a specific person directly
  • discussion area is open to all and should not contain
  • personal information (grades, etc.) and should not be of
  • interest only to one person.
